Does anyone have any ideas for where we could go???

Needs to be:

- In or around Northamptonshire (dont mind travelling up to an hour)
- Something that will last the whole day-ish
- Something that would facilitate reasonable amounts of conversation (ie no cinema!)

Just booked a flight home for the end of november, 5 days back in Blighty :-)

To do lots of important things like pay off my credit card, get a new tax disc, sell my car, look for a job and have loads of snuggles with Boz and Callie-boo in my soon-to-be new home.

This is the only thing I could do to get through day after day of Excel Marketing lists. Will they never end????

Monday morning, brand new cute top for work - blue and white polka dot with a big red bow on, just dropped yoghurt lid straight onto boob. Right boob now covered in yoghurt. Rushed to loo and dabbed with wet cloth, now have massive wet patch.

All this wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't sitting between Tim and Armin today, the 2 hotties of the office.

Now have to type with one arm awkwardly over boob. KILL ME NOW.

My brother challenged me to this the other day, it was on paper so I didn't have the ability to use google and cheat so I'm hoping in the spirit of the game, noone else will do either! I had my gorgeous cat, Beefy, put down this morning. He had feline leukemia. He was only 5. I am totally and utterly heartbroken.

On a lighter note, when I came back from London on Tuesday, who plonked himself down next to me? None other than Nick from the Apprentice who, for those of you who aren't familiar with names, is the guy who always sits left of Alan Sugar, pulls funny faces and helps make decisions.
When he got on the train, I gasped out loudly and he frowned at me really sternly, which then made me terrified to talk to him, haha!
I did manage to snap a picture of him on my phone though, unbeknown to him.

Tee hee.

Ulgh I drove all the way to bloody High Wycombe last night to see Paul's band in the regional semis for a battle of the bands thingy. It took me 2 hours to get there sheesh. But it was worth it. Pauls band is called Empathy and they're OK, a bit bland if you ask me, but their lead singer (apart from being really hot mmm) is actually really good. They sang a bit of a shit song though and the band wasn't turned up enough so all you could hear was the vocals. But, they got through which was cool.
But, there was this one guy who decided (i don't know why!!) to sing 'Can you feel the love tonight' in a really heartfelt way, which caused me to spit out my drink laughing because he had such a bad lisp, bless him, and the words were just coming out all funny. And then, the judges had to find some tactful way of saying he had a lisp and failed :-/

And then I had to drive all the way back on my own which was really scary because it was about 60 miles of country roads on my own in the dark. Eek.

I have loads of stuff to write here, but my 4oD programme has just informed me that my episode of Skins has downloaded and i HAVE to go and watch it now cos I love it tee hee.

( Firsts Quiz )

I'm thinking that I really really need to re-read the dark materials trilogy. The first time I read them, I really rushed through them and didn't really appreciate how wonderful they were, and having had a peek at some of the pics for the new film (with Daniel Craig phwoar!) I really want to be up to date with the story before I watch the film. I'm currently reading 'The Island' which is also the book for my book club opal_books which is actually a really good book. Not sure anyone else is actually reading it with me, but it's good all the same :D


And here's the part where I admit i'm a closet geek; I just watched the whole new series of battlestar galactica in a week and it was absolutely freakin' awesome :D

I'd also really like to get a funky new layout for my diary, does anyone know where I can acquire one? I'm not all that great with HTML so am using the S2 layouts at the mo I think. But I'd like to be a bit more adventurous...

Also, a hair-related question (possibly directed in curiositykate and lipstick_letter direction!) At the moment, I've got quite long hair and really like making it all wavy with my hair straighteners, like curling it into loose ringlets. Is there a way that I can have, like a loose perm? I don't want to have corkscrewy tightly-curled hair, but want to have loose curls. Does anyone know if this is possible? Also, I have really thick heavy hair so I don't know if this will make a difference.
